First time at Croom? WELCOME!
Croom Motorcycle Area at Withlacoochee State Forest-with more than 2600 acres of forest trails. The Croom-Sand Hill Day Use Area is one of the best riding areas in the State of Florida with an open riding area with soft "sugar" sand, limited trees, lots of berms, whoops, miles of trails, picnic tables, restrooms, and free parking. Ideal for young riders, beginners to advanced riders alike.
Checking In — Getting your Rentals
Once you arrive at Croom Motorcycle Area, NO FEEs to be PAID at the Gate, AFTER YOU PASS THE GUARD SHAKE. You will take the VERY FIRST LEFT, into SAND HILL-DAY USE AREA you’ll see a sign (shown in picture). As you enter, look for the MOORE ATV RENTALS trailer. Park and Walk on OVER, you’ll meet a CREW Member, they’ll make sure everyone is checked in.
Once check-in and paperwork is completed, you’ll be fitted with a helmet, go over OHV safety and instructions. Riders are required to show they understand instructions, can control the ATVs, UTVs and/or Dirt bikes. After you show us you know your rental, you’ll be ready for an adventure.
